Ingredients
  • 2 cups soaked rice
  • 1 cup soaked chana dal
  • ¼ cup soaked tur dal
  • ¼ cup soaked urad dal
  • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup grated carrot
  • ¼ cup peas
  • ¼ cup French beans
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp green chillies
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup curd
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 6-7 curry leaves
  • ½ tsp asafoetida powder
Preparations
  • Add soaked rice, soaked chana dal, soaked tur dal, soaked urad dal, fenugreek seeds and water in the grinder jar of the Usha Maximus + . Grind the ingredients to make a thick batter.
  • Add carrots, peas, French beans, ginger, green chillies, turmeric powder, salt, curd and baking soda to the batter. Mix all the ingredients together.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, curry leaves and asafoetida. Pour the batter into the pan. Cover and cook on medium flame for 10-12 mins. Open the lid and turn the handvo and cover and cook the other side for another 10-12 mins.
Cooking Tip

Cook on low flame + Being extra careful while flipping to avoid crack/breaking of Handvo
